It happens to all of us at some point.
Don't panic and don't give up! Here are four tips and tricks to get you back on a roll.
1. Make a list
If you are stuck trying to figure out a topic, start writing lists.
What is popular in your field? What do you want to learn more about? What questions do you get asked often? Write them down!
You could also make a list of keywords and circle those that stand out.
2. Think about your ideal customer
Create some profiles of your target audience.
What would they be interested in? What would they want to know about?
Look at your business from an outside perspective. If you were a potential customer, what kind of content would you want to see?
3. Make outlines
Outlines are an extremely valuable tool.
If you are already writing on a topic and find that you're stuck, try putting together an outline or a thought web!
Seeing the same information in a different way could definitely get your brain organized and those creative juices flowing.
If you're still stuck it's probably time to stop writing and start reading!
Read the news, social media channels, and other blogs.
Forbes said, "The content your competitors put out might reveal opportunities to differentiate yourself on a trending topic, or build on a concept and approach it from a new perspective."
Do your research, find a topic, and make it your own.
