How do mobile conversions stack up to digital?

We all know that mobile is important – why else would Google be switching to mobile-first indexing? 

But, are there more conversions on mobile or desktop?

Marketing Land reported, "Mobile conversions growing but less valuable. But while mobile conversions grew a significant 10 points from 2018 to 2019 (39% to 49%), the majority of conversions still come from the desktop."

In addition, more expensive orders are more likely to be placed on a desktop. 

It's important to know what device your sales are happening on so you can prioritize the user experience.
