Two Google tools for SEO writers to try this week

If you are working in SEO, you're probably pretty familiar with Google Analytics and Google Search Console at this point.

However, it's still good to expand your horizons and try new things!

Google has even more to offer, so this week make it your goal to explore these two tools.

1. Google Keyword Planner

Keyword research is so important to your SEO strategy, so if you haven't already you should check out Google Keyword Planner.

As Social Media Today said, "With Keyword Planner, you're able to enter a bunch of seed keywords and the tool will come back to you with a range of suggestions, synonyms to cover, and possibly extensions for your topic that you haven’t thought of before."

It's a great resource to play with and could even spark some really productive creativity.

2. Google Trends

Knowing the current trends is an important part of knowing what your audience wants to read.

Google Trends is a fantastic tool for writers to get some inspiration.

You can learn about current topics that are trending and even search trends by location. This will give you great insight to what you should be both reading and writing about in order to stay current.

Both of these tools are completely free, so you have nothing to lose!

If you set aside a little time every week to learn one or two more things, you'll find yourself on the path to success. Focus on learning, growing, and driving more traffic!
